Desde hace unos años la legalización de la marihuana ha sido tema controversial en todos los países, siendo aceptada en algunos y rechazada en otros. Independientemente de la polémica, grupo Mórbido decidió unirse al debate brindando un espacio en su plataforma para conmemorar lo que ha sido el 20 de abril como la celebración de esta hierba. Estas imágenes están entre mis favoritas debido a que no sólo se trata de personajes de horror, sino que, por un lado el vampiro succiona un bong, objeto principal en las películas mostradas del ciclo. En cuanto al hombre lobo, su chamarra escolar hace referencia a "Los Waldos", grupo a que se le atribuye el número 4.20 (siendo esta la hora en que fumaban en la estatua de Pasteur en San Rafael High School, y es por eso que fuma de un porro en lugar de una pipa o bong).

Since a couple of years ago many countries had put the eye on legal use of weed, it is well accepted in a few and rejected in others. Despite of the whole background of political issues, Morbido group decided to join the discussion with an open space in their platform to celebrate the 4.20 or april 20. These illustrations are part of my favorite not only because they both are horror characters smoking weed. First of all, the vampire is smoking using a bong, which is the main prop in the movies broadcasted during that day on the TV channel. On the other hand, the jacket which the werewolf is wearing is related to the "Waldos", the original group who gave the actual meaning to the number 4.20 (which is the hour when they used to smoke weed in the Louis Pasteur statue on San Rafael High School, and that is why it is smoking a blunt instead of using a bong)
