Cartography is fascinating- so much time and effort goes into the process of designing and making of a map to ensure its as accurate and precise as it can be, owing to the needs of the people who will often use them to find their way for one reason or another.

I have always been intrigued with maps. I recall my first good view of them was from a National Geographic magazine owned by my grandfather who loved to travel. The folding map of the contiguous North America mesmerized my younger self, and I am glad to say that I still share the same fascination.

I tried drawing maps as I got older and here are my series of maps (that I feel confident enough to show) for stories of me and my friends own making. Enjoy!
12th Cycle Map. Updated version of the map below made with current level of skill and resources. Give or take about half a year in-between the two. I really like how it turned out this time! More texts, more world-building, and most importantly- definitely felt more confident in presenting this.

For this I tried to go beyond the scope of simply making a map and instead tried to make a document as one of the residents in this world would make (and mark them). This meant stamps, dates, and scrawls that doesn't always make sense except to the person that made them.

For the previous version, see below. I think there's about a year in between the two map? Either way, it has been a good ride throughout.

12th World. Certainly nothing quite like our Earth, not in landmass and certainly not in shape. I tried to make it feel magical and strange even through the map alone- centered on that one spot known as the Abyss in the center....
Helghan, Electric Hearts and Ashen Skies. A map for a more sci-fi setting based on Guerilla Games' Killzone series. I used the in-game map, view of the planet, and references based off the excellent artbook that Guerilla released.
Eydra. This one is a map made for a friend, who while their map are much more visually stimulating, I find it a bit hard to read owing to several choices in their sketches. So I made my own map to make it easier for me to parse through as my friends and I continually build upon the story we have together.
