Project ‘Letterspace’ is a celebration of letterform in everyday spaces. Myself and 25 other designers were tasked with designing a letter, informed by the everyday spaces that make up our life. I chose Whitworth park, basing the form of the letter on the shape of the park’s entrance archway; whilst also taking influence from the parks Victorian history through elaborate ornamentation. The exhibition was held at the Whitworth Art Gallery, huge credit to Lucy Biggs for putting together the project, to Slater Harrison for providing the paper and to Dan Mather for printing all the posters.
