2018: Freelance Illustration + Animation
Most of my artwork is surrounded by intimacy and personal thoughts that have been gathered throughout my life. I try giving these concepts a unique feeling and performance so that the viewer can empathize with them. Rotoscoping is the technique I usually adopt. I hope you like them!
No Te Tengo Miedo
// No Te Tengo Miedo //
I worked on this animation as an entry to the First Bienal of Mexican Illustration (Primera Bienal de Ilustración). 'No Te Tengo Miedo' translates to 'I'm Not Afraid of You', and is based on the current situation regarding the ongoing violence towards women.
Self-Ignition
about self-ignition: no matter how many times you've tried at some point, it's a process you'll need to re-do. the only thing harder than keeping it alive, is starting it.
After developing a concept about some of the struggles about growing up and how motivation works, I animated this piece. I wanted to practice with some tertiary complementary colors.
Me Tomé un Limbo // Pero He Vuelto
This piece was made right when I found inspiration and gathered the strength to move forward. I wanted to experiment using defined color divisions by the lasso-tool.
