Advance is an initiative of the South Carolina Baptist Convention aimed at strengthening churches around our state. The wordmark is built with strong angles that create the sensation of movement and forward progress. The thick, bold strokes establish a sense of strength and stability while the gradiated color scheme hints toward the ever-changing nature of growth. The initial letter A is designed to be a stand-alone icon that can represent the brand separate from the entire word.
The initial branding project was followed closely by the creation of an eight panel gatefold brochure, paired with custom web design to match the theme.
