Recently my client Wonder World opened their doors to the masses. Macfarlane Creative have been working with Wonder World since November 2012 to create marketing materials to promote this massive new Softplay facility. Wonder World can be found in Kinning Park, Glasgow, and is a massive 30,000 sq ft playground for kids, but also features a Starbucks cafe and free wifi for the parents.
Macfarlane Creative worked closely with the Marketing Consultant at Wonder World to get a gauge for the look and feel of the desired brand. Obviously being a facility for kids it has to be colourful, with a lot of iconography, pictures and characters. The amazing paintwork on the walls within the facility (it’s worth a visit if only to admire this!), had already been started, so a visit to the building during construction was very helpful in laying out a plan of action in terms of creative direction.
Special mention should go to Gaz @ SW3, Glasgow, who was responsible for the initial logo design, and the amazing grafitti-style paintwork!
The brief involved designing all sorts of print materials from flyers and posters, to free passes and party invites. The work also involved creating a Twitter Profile Image, and Facebook Header and Milestone images.
