Photobash
Photobash...created by combining three different landscape photos and three composite photos to create this wholly new photo. I had a lot of fun creating this piece. I had trouble with composite images beforehand, but this project helped me to learn this skill. Now, because of this I have the confidence to make anything!
Comic Strip: Tea Time Tragedies
Tea Time Tragedies comic strip...features the tea cup sized dragon Peppermintini (original character). Creating this comic strip was an incredible feat for me because this was the first piece I colored and edited online (Krita was used). This was my doorway into the digital media world. I will at some point go back and recolor the last three panels to make them darker.
This small animation I created for the ourto of another project (not posted here) is an example of my first image animation. It correlates with the comic strip because I pulled Peppermintini out of the comic strip, edited him, and gave him more life.
Adobe Illustrator: Image trace and live paint (character)
Lavey Heller (original character) Adobe Illustrator project...I had drawn Lavey on paper awhile before he was transferred online. To learn to use Adobe Illustrator I was to image trace and live paint a character in Illustrator. With much frustration at the pen tool I prevailed and Lavey went from being colored in pencil, to being more brought to life in the digital world. I learned to appreciate the ease of coloring on Photoshop as well.
