Material study through experimentation sustain a plane

A collection of objects created during workshops with Natalie Weinmann, a designer and teacher at the Stuttgart State Academy of Art and Design.
The main tool of the workshops was methodical experimantation with randomly-chosen material. I had the task to create a sustaining material from rope. Ma partner, to create a plane from soap or wax.
In the end our system used both. A structure made of a single rope was untangled in both direction. In was coated in wax for stability and then we melted the plastic with molten soap to create a plane of particles.
