BRIDGE TO EDUCATION POSTERS

This poster series was created for the Chinese market using bridges to represent the many challenges that young rural students must face in their quest for quality education. Red represents luck, happiness and joy and is a popular color in Chinese culture. Blue represents immortality and advancement, while gold represents wealth and riches. Together these colors add cultural significance to the Chinese audience and tie the posters to their long tradition of art and design. The body copy pulls all the elements together into a version of a Chinese proverb.

This series was produced using Adobe Illustrator. The bridge illustrations were hand drawn then modified using Image Trace to make the final vector artwork. The hardest challenge was getting the colors right. Over 40 color variations were created then printed to find the correct color combinations.
