This university project looked at the relationship between words and images in graphic communication. How do verbal-textual and graphic elements interact to create meaning? What do visual-compositional relationships mean within graphic design? What can pure text ‘say and communicate’ and what kind of role can images play?

For this project I decided to focus on the Vietnam War and specifically John Lenon and Yoko Ono's bed-in peace protests. I created a booklet based on a quote by Lenon in 1969.
