Introduction to the movie poster section
An example of how the layout of movie posters changed along with the politics of the movie production houses during this time period.  These two posters for Gone with the Wind were produced only a few years apart, on either side of the division of the two decades, and show how the depiction of the actors changed as well as how posters started to be seen as a way to highlight aspects of the story in order entice movie patrons into seeing said movies; in addition to having a better understanding of what to expect from the movie.
