dot.n Design Network | logo redesign
dot.n Design Network® is a creative platform connects architectural ideas and reality. The name dot.n comes from a scientific idea that lines are formed by thousands of dots, and then the lines formulate sides, and spaces. The dots here are the most fundamental particles to formulate architectural outcomes. A “dot” triggers another dot, and it happens repeatedly.

We were given the following keywords and values: dot, network, space, design, diversity and variety of cultures, balance, minimal, professional, formal, strong, trust.

new logo:
D is a symmetrical symbol of a network, made of dots and the space between them. The "dot" is represented by the circle in the middle of the symbol. All curves are parts of this circle and each letter is formed by a circle or part of it. Moreover we keep minimal but strong design to emphasize the letter “D” and the word “dot” as well. Helvetica font is used for the subtitle to emphasize the professional, strong but clean identity of the logo.

The previous logo had the following difficulties:
DOTN is aggressive, difficult pronunciation, looks like DON’T
and also: not scalable, difficult for application, there is no symbol, difficult for SNS
target:
easily recognized, easy to read, visualize and communicate dot, make “D” stronger than “N”
