Worked on a pitch for big bad wolf for their 2018 annual sale!
What’s the one thing BBW can own?  Really. really cheap books.
But how cheap is cheap, really? 

Well we focused our story around the idea of how affordable these books really are. 
It all goes back to human behaviour: You know you’re getting a good deal,
when someone isn’t happy. So, who isn’t happy in this case?

AUTHORS. 

They suffer, starve, work two jobs, lose sleep, face rejection and ridicule, get imprisoned and deal with vast oceans of pain to craft, craft and craft their books. But the Wolf doesn't care! The Wolf firmly believes everyone has the right to read. So that's why he is selling books filthy dirty cheap. And it's all happening in one big event - the Big Bad Wolf sale. 


 


Following are the some of the social posts the team worked on, the main idea is how the sale is hurting the author - because their life work is being sold ridiculously cheap.
To continue the story onto on-ground activations, we designed book covers to help customers hide their new books from the lurking authors waiting for the chance to take their precious books books. Books are styled to throw authors off with titles such as "this book is super duper pricey" "no cheap books here!" "this is a realllllyyy expensive book".
Also hidden within the sale is a the Wolf's special bookmark, any customer who finds these bookmarks hidden amidst the stacks of books will have the chance to enjoy rewards.
