Problem -
Was tasked with creating a Banner for the Digital Media Program/Degree at University Of Houston
Using Adobe Photoshop (and Illustrator if you choose) design a 4’ x 7’ (foot) BANNER Poster for the Digital Media program.
The Design may win the honor of being printed out as a LARGE SCALE BANNER and hung within Sugar Land or Main campus buildings.
Solution & Result -
So I leveraged Extremely large and High Quality Royalty free images of the Night Star filled sky and Space images of the heavens in a manner that demonstrated the flow and relevance of the typography. I also created vector art in Illustrator of stars and icons that represent each of the 6 emphasis of the Digital Media Degree Program, then leveraged them back into Photoshop with the High quality images with masks and gradients and the text that was effected with outer glow with a color relevant to it’s position in the Art Piece.
