Using Illustrator, this travel poster was created to demonstrate the evolution and simplicity of Louisville, Kentucky bridges.

The goal in creating a Louisville travel poster was to design a symmetrical composition which would clearly display both the beauty and evolution of bridge construction. Everyone around Louisville knows about the bridges, constantly referring to them when discussing directions. Though, how often does one stop and admire the symmetry of the bridges? This design attracts art-lovers and architects to Louisville's bridges which are such a rich part of the city's history. The rusty and metallic colors symbolize the metal and age of the bridges. The bridges are organized, top to bottom, in chronological order by the date their construction was completed. As far as balance, the poster is symmetrical, aside from the newly added dates, to emphasize the stability and steadfastness of bridges.
