Introducing materiality / Sculptural experimentation

This project aimed to explore the boundaries between tough structures almost every contemporary buildings are made of and light, nealy tangible textures, never and ever suitable as a constructive material for human needs, but suitable for the same needs of some other species. Species like bees. Like wax!

When working on the project the set of experiments was implemented: different proportion of concrete and wax was mixed together in order to find the most appropriate ratio between them so to provide the new texture with needed toughness and lightness as well.
