Branding For A Cause

Gold Tote Campaign is designed to provide food for college students pantries, and to eliminate the stigma behind using paper bags for food shelves. Food insecurity is common on college campuses and has a stigma behind it. Using gold totes will spread awareness, and hopefully normalize the idea that college students suffer from food insecurity and it is acceptable to ask for help. Conceptually, Target and Cub will partner with Gold Tote by supporting their local communities.
My concept was a reusable bag that would draw the attention of the community. Illustrations from landmarks in St. Paul would be the main design, with the logo Gold Tote Campaign below it. The goal would be that for each bag sold, a college student was receive a meal. Hunger insecurity is a growing issue on college campuses and this idea could get the community involved and solve issues. Designs executed were illustrations of The Landmark Center, Como Zoo Conservatory, and The Capitol Building.
