The Above Fire Poker was a comission for a wedding anniversary present.  It was personalised by adding the couples initails onto the base of the stand.

This fire poker is made up of many techniques, the diamond point was firstly jumped up, then a long even taper was created up to the bottom of the twist.  Then the octagon section was created, followed by the lead and round taper for the handle.  Next the twist was put in and the handle was completed.
