Remaking of bad city flag: Juneau, Alaska

Sketches:
The city flag that I chose to remake is the Juneau City flag. The original design is displayed above. The flag had a lot of red flags including the wording and the mountain top crossing the outline of the flag. For the remaking of the flag I tried to incorporate as much of the symbolism in the original in my new flag. I remodeled the mountains and did a different design for the stars. For the mountains, I just tried to make a design that would look good. For the stars, I used the design on the Alaskan flag itself. For the color of the mountains, I just wanted to make it some sort of blue because blue means loyalty. Although I do not have any correlations with Juneau, Alaska I wanted to create a better flag for this city. This is what I wanted to accomplish and what I think I did accomplish.
