These benches were a design challenge that I set for myself to see just how much I could get out of a single folded piece of material.

The translucent nature of the material is perfect for displaying the sharp angles and lines that run through this design.

Most of these design challenges have a time limit of 1 hour from concept through to full model, rendering only after the idea has been realized. Time restricted challenges like these help me to produce concept models and rapid prototyping faster for the client, which is always something to be desired in the design industry.
