This project was created under the frame of  "La Velada Diseño & Innovación Social 2011 - Rio Nima", which took place on May of 2011. This event sought to promote opportunities for discussion and design project management-oriented to improve the quality of life in communities belonging to the base of the pyramid.
"Amdamdo Nima", the project, intents to promote the self-recognition of cultural identity.

Context. Río Nima is a community located on the banks of the Níma river, a community of african descent, displaced from the Colombian Pacific. As a small comunity in a place where they are not originally from, is vulnerable to lose their own traditional cultural identity.

Project. A map that shows the goods and services created by the community, to make them recognized, evidence their values ​​and to encourage their production even to be sold in other places, made by themselves in co-design.

Desing Role. Facilitating the creation of the map in working with the community and ensure that this can be developed autonomously maintaining this as a resource that guaranties the recognition of their own values.
