My City
I was born and raised in Jakarta - a city that taught me daily life is literal hustle and struggle for most people. Where life is the art of making a living by any means they could. Where risks and dangers seem invisible. Where challenges lie at every corner.
This photo series is a self-reflection as I walked down in the suburb of Jatinegara, eastern part of Jakarta. My purpose was to be close to the little things that I see in my everyday life. To pique my interest of moments passing by. To put meaning in what they do. To make what's common stand out.
My city and its peculiarities. The people I embrace as each of them become one of the many of Jakarta's greatest elements.
