This was my first attempt at vectoring a portrait. I tried it out on myself because it was just easier to comprehend what I was doing that way. I worked on the foundation (shapes and color) in Adobe Illustrator. I got a little fancy in Photoshop after that with the paint brush in the background. The prints in the background are repeats that I created myself. 

This is Josh! My second test subject! Same protocol, Illustrator >Photoshop. I created the repeats in the background a while ago in Photoshop, as well as the one on his shirt. In Both of our portraits I left on real life element. Can you guess what they are?

Meet Ellie! I went on a mission trip to Guatemala. There are 17 people on our team and we call ourselves #GUATSQUAD Ellie is our team mascot! This pic of her is so dope! It was screaming "Vector me!" I was definitely more confident vector this picture! I played around more with highlights and shadows. Again Illustrator > Photoshop. I played with some gradients for the background layer and added black and white paint in a separate layer above that.
