Sum Total is a speculative project that builds a world defined by the collapse of two major global systems, examining the social, environmental and economic intersections formed by their collision. The story takes place in a world without clean air, in which the general population has to wear filtration masks, designed in order to address both the symptom - breathable air, through technical filtration, and the cause - societal consumption habits, by aesthetically exposing people’s consumption habits.
