K2 was a very immersive set. We intended to get the audience as close to the experience as possible. Sound and visual worked together to surround the audience with changing weather and light. A single climbing rope was strung through the theater to every seat in the audience.

Technical features in the set include a hydraulic lift that allowed actors to emerge from under the snow without entering in a blackout, 12' of climb space with a cornice, a surreal ceiling of clouds and an actor falling from the full height of the theater to be caught by his rope and harness just feet from the audience.
