Obsessive Compulsive Desserts identity design

As the name suggests, Obsessive Compulsive Desserts—or, more often referred to as OCD—is a play on the ‘Obsessive Compulsive Disorder’ and highlights founder and pâtissier, Geraldine’s obsession with desserts, as well as how she works with an almost fanatical passion that personalises her desserts to her client’s needs.

In the logo design, we designed it to be an expression of this idea of customisation that is central to Geraldine’s business. Geometric shapes that are derived from the letters ‘O’, ‘C’ and ‘D’ would at times combine into a singular, recognisable shape but also separate and re-constitute into something abstract.

Rational or wild, the boundaries of Geraldine’s dessert are as far as where your imagination takes you. Colourful, pastel colours were used in the identity design be reminiscent of the visuality and sweet taste of the desserts. A special note card was also designed amongst a simple suite of collaterals to give a personal touch to the overall branding.
