I started a new watercolor series a few months ago, I called it “Edible Botanicals”. So far, I only have about two pieces in this series but I’m aiming for 10-12 at some point. Since I’m interested in foraging, permaculture and ecological gardening, I’m investigating unusual edible, wild plants and creating patterns or designs out of them. I imagine that with a few tweaks here and here, they could would work for textile or product surface design.
