TECHSTYLE CONCEPT
From concept to full build, Techstyle Haus was conceived as a learning tool. The design sought to generate an autonomous, energy producing solar home to show ultimately that sustainable homes can be beautiful. By choosing to integrate double-curved forms with high performance textiles and energy efficient building technologies, the design team challenged conventional architectural practices and approached homebuilding with a fresh perspective. The challenge provided an opportunity to consider the problem with playful and willing minds and to invent new solutions to old problems.
