Animals of the Biomes

Animals of the Biomes

Animals live in areas with a specific climate that is best suited for them and enables them to thrive. A series of nine icons were designed featuring animals from the various biomes. This temporary exhibition aims to inform visitors about the different biomes through the usage of sculptures, information plaques, and interactive displays.

A total of nine animal icons were designed from the different biomes. Inspiration is drawn from origami and the anatomical structure of each animal to figure out how the lines would fit together and interact with one another.

The nine animals and their corresponding biomes are deer (forest), crane (swamp), seahorse (ocean), camel (desert), kangaroo (grassland), frog (rainforest), ram (alpine), fox (arctic) and giraffe (savanna).

A collection of accessories to be sold at end of the exhibition based on animal icons. The samples below feature a crane as a necklace, rainforest frog as a keychain and seahorse as a brooch.
