Bench on the street side is always nice, especially when you are tired of walking. However, a lot of time the benches were not fully used because of the awkwardness to sit along a stranger. This bench is designed with two seating places facing the opposite directions to minimize such uncomfortable feeling, as in this way, it feels like personal seat rather than a shared two seats bench. Meanwhile, I wanted to add some movement into a regular bench. Thus, the top half of the bench could be flipped towards the other side and turned into a lounge chair that provides some extra relax.
