Antimatter - The Judas Table - Fake Album Cover

Here are some inspiration that I'm using to help with the text elements on the fake album cover. Something vintage or stamp-like is what I'm aiming for.

The plan is to have the shapes on the cover be vauge and paintery. Rough figure shapes are good representations of what it's like to go through mental struggle. The album is about the singer going through such troubles with relationships.

In this mood board, I compiled a few more images with interesting textures, poses, and the color scheme I plan on using. Red will be the spot color/focal point surrounded by a grey-blue.

This is the mindmap to help me think of designs and elements I want to focus on in the fake album cover. The album has several songs about a woman who used a man for money, leaving him with whatever mental problems she had. However, he goes on to explain that how she grew up is why she is the way she is.

Here are some thumbnails for the front cover. The symbol of the pig is repeated throughout the album, so I thought that adding that element in where ever a face is would be good. The cat in the middle one represents how the woman used to sleep around. The orchid on its tail is a symbol of passion and love. Since these were sketches, they aren't the paintery style just yet.

I purchased a watercolor action that I applied to the previous version of the cover. It helps add more texture and a paintery feel.

This is the final version of the cover where I added a vignette for mood.

This was a test to see how a rough version of the back cover would pair with the front cover. The watercolor action was also added to the back cover.
