I used a purple underglaze with only two coats, next time I'm going to put more layers on to make it not so blotchy, and if that doesn't work I'm planning on using a different glaze for a more smooth and clean cut look. I could also sand down the top to make it more even. The coils did turn out well and evened out so it stands balanced.
