This project was developed by a furniture brand called Tok&Stok. This assignment was really inspiring and challenging for me because it consisted of creating a home line that was different from everything I had conceived during my graduation years. The topic proposed by the company was Regional Ethnic, which brings an unknown culture to the customers of the store.

My research started with exotic places that I have always dreamed of visiting, such as Thailand. I started looking for native tribes from Thailand that could awake an interesting

look that I could replicate to my project. The chosen tribe was Akha, an ethnic group that lives in small villages at higher elevations in the mountains of Thailand. In their culture, while they do their work and leisure activities, they sing and dance. They also use instruments such as flutes and drums.
