This project portrays the sacrifice and importance of the migrant farmworker in American agriculture, which has a crucial role in everyday life. I geared towards political art through printmaking as the images can be reproduced like flyers or propaganda images showcasing the marginalization of migrant farm workers in the United States. Produced in 2015, through etching, black ink, and red marker. Amongst the Farm Workers series, I emphasize the sacrifice and hard work these laborers expose themselves to in this field of work. Enduring pesticides, back problems, and marginalization - migrant farmworkers throughout the United States play an important role in agriculture that extends to having produce in our supermarkets and what we consume everyday
