Intervention: A Critique on RISD's Critique Space
In this project, I transform RISD's 3D Store into a critique and studio space for students of all majors. The first floor aims to provide a more professional critique setting with predetermined seating, wall space, and exhibition glass. On second and third floors, students of any major can work side by side, proving the idea that all art is relative, and we can all learn from one another. The transparency and dynamic floor plan allow for students and professors to see the happenings of the entire building all at once.
The façade of the building consists of small individual work spaces for those who need more focus, while still maintaining the transparent theme.

First floor: critique space. Students are able to either pin their work on the walls in the triangular section or exhibit their work behind glass in the primary viewing area. The large, gradual ramp lets the student slow down while they ascend and observe the floor below.
Second floor: large studio space for any work that can be done on a table top/wall.
Third floor.
