I was inspired by New York City graffiti as well as Marmot Mammoth parka also
known as a “biggie” that became a trend a few years back. The pattern print, which
I digitally printed onto satin, is based on the topic of Latina/Afro-Latina pride.
As a Latina myself, I’m proud of where I come from and wanted the print to be
bold and confident in addressing that.
