I am a Sophomore Nursing Major at Waynesburg University currently pursuing a minor in Digital Design. I have had experience with many of the Adobe Suites such as Illustrator, After Effects, Photoshop, and InDesign. I have always wanted to be a nurse since high school. I have also been interested in digital artwork, and so, I decided to pursue a career in both of them. My current plan is to go for a total of six years to earn my Bachelor Degrees in both Nursing and Digital Design.
This is a project for one of nursing classes. We had to design a billboard ad for our University's Health Fair. Along with the help of a friend I did a photo shoot using the photo lab on campus, and in Adobe Photoshop I created this billboard for concussion awareness.
These next two posters are movie posters I designed. The first is for a fictional movie I made involving the genre of Spaghetti Westerns. I decided to instead make a Spaghetti Western movie poster. The next poster is for the film directed by Christopher Nolan, "The Prestige". The movie is easily in my top five list as the cinematography and writing is spectacular.
This next project is a before and after using the content aware tool from Adobe Photoshop to showcase photo correction. The ability to remove entire objects, and even people, is essential in photography as it is useful for correcting photos where there are visible errors or objects that need to be removed to enhance the photograph.
This digital piece is a logo I made for my University's Communications Department. Our mascot is the yellowjacket, and the logo is a yellowjacket that references an antenna tower.
This last project showcases my determination to both of my career paths, Digital Design, and Nursing. I believe I am doing well so far.
