Journey into the Evolution of Mankind
TOTEM follows the human species from its original amphibian state to its ultimate desire to fly. This remarkable show explores the ties that bind mankind to other species, from dreams and to infinite potential. 

Challenge
This was the first ever souvenir program of the show. Because it’s a show that travels around the globe, the content had to appeal to a large audience and had to be easy to understand. 

Solution
The storyline of the show is really what makes it special. It was important to create a souvenir program that told the story accurately with the visual and the copy. We decided to take a poetic approach with the content and give deeper meaning to the static images. The cover and sleeve, when pulled up, represent a totem that expands to reveal the animalistic, nature-inspired makeup of the characters. The tribal-inspired characters and logo was used to convey the message of our return to the roots of humankind.
