This project required the reproduction of a magazine or word based document from selected topics creating a mono-thematic document that demonstrated through a publication the exploration of navigation, inventive typography, creative image making and an opportunity to create a physical printed artifact that formed examples of many fundamental aspects of design.

The publication I selected to reproduce was Mondial by Rapha. Mondial expands the idea of what road cycling is and what the sport can be. It features incisive longform writing and stunning photography. It also features familiar cycling topics given a fresh new treatment, while a cycling viewpoint is brought to wider cultural subjects, thus broadening the sport's reference points.

The final printed project is sixty-two pages long and features content compiled from a variety of sources covering a variety of cycling topics as per the original selected document. The name I decided on for the reproduction was of French origin - La Volupté. Roughly translated it represents 'a fleeting moment of perfect harmony and clarity found aboard a bicycle.

The project also required the printed publication to be converted into a digital interactive document. It explored the transitional development of converting the document from print to screen and the limitations and opportunities that this presented.
