Time Management Smart Watch

Research shows about 11% of people are diagnosed with ADHD. I also surveyed a group of people and discovered that while only a small percent are diagnosed with adhd many people struggle with similar problems often just to a less extreme degree. For people with ADHD in specific the problem of time management is often not a lack of motivation but rather a lack of awareness. They are easily distracted and many struggle to recognize the passing of time.
Having researched this I set my goal to design a product that is geared towards the time management problems of people with ADHD. I wanted to experiment with how systems combined with a physical manifestation of time could help raise an awareness of time passing as well as improve productivity.
When developing my solution I began with a simple mind map to get ideas flowing.
I then moved on to broad ideation followed by selection and refinement of the best options.
After settling on a design I worked on prototyping the both the physical and digital aspects of the object. I used silicon covered wire as a material and flexibility study, worked on orthographic views, and designed a framework for the digital interface.
