I.AM.U.S (part 1)

America has a history of having incredibly complicated and historically based relationships. This is no different for American minority communities, immigrants and the children of American immigrants. This relationship is one that is different for every individual but shares the same history of oppression and resistance, of empowerment and subjugation, and of tragedy and triumph. In this first installment of the I.AM.U.S. series, I try and visually investigate what such a relationship holds by touching on various topics that hold important and relevant meaning to various peoples.
