This project was the first in my Junior Seminar class. We were assigned to create a calendar with a requirement of minimum four patterns. Also, we had to print at least one page with the Risograph printer. At first, I wanted to make a planner, but instead chose to push myself into making a reusable perennial calendar. It has a theme of outer space and female astronauts. Each months features an illustration of a different astronaut with a short paragraph about who she is and what she has accomplished on the back. All of the components are double sided. To meet the Riso requirement, I make a fluorescent orange star pattern on the insides of the front and back covers.
