Game Brainstorming

- competition
- game pieces will be clay
- 2/4 player game
- should be exciting
- basically like a normal board game except there are 2 dice, one is used to just normally get to the end, and the other will determine the length of rope they get on that turn.
- objective is to continuously create the longest rope possible to get to the top of the mountain (250 m tall)
- players must accumulate rope by rolling a dice and then adding that amount onto their current length throughout the game to be the winner.
- players can either use their accumulated rope to allow them to get a boost every turn, or they can save it up and use it all at once (but the cap for this is 50 meters)
- there will be many designated spaces players can land on that will give them a special advantage. The special advantage varies on what the card will say when they pick one from the pile if they land on one of these spaces.
- special advantages include: bonus rope: add (x) amount of rope to the amount you rolled on your last turn, weaken opponent's rope: your opponent's rope will break after 2 turns and they will have to go back down the same number of spaces they rolled on their last turn, reduce opponent's rope: reduce opponent's rope by (x) from their last 2 turns combined, doubled rope: double the length you rolled from the last turn you've made, or rope cutter: reduce your opponent's rope (by the same length you rolled from your last turn), and rope invulnerability: you gain immunity from rope reduction, and should be played after your opponent chooses to use their rope cutter card.
- special advantages can be played anytime throughout the game
- players may only use one type of each special advantage per turn
- first player to get to the top of the mountain wins the game and claims the title of king of the hill!
