Omega – 明 椅 (Míng yǐ: Ming chair) is an armchair that expresses the suggestion of both the traditional Ming chair and the cantilever model with ease and elegance; an union between the artisan identity of Chinese culture and the industrial one from Europe.
The name Omega refers to the shape of the backrest that actually resembles the Greek letter Ω. Additionally this letter is often associated with the end – in this case, the end of a process of abstraction beyond which you cannot go.
