Paris, Love
A short encounter with the land of romance in 2005
I traveled to Paris in 2005 with the Asia-Europe Foundation to attend the Young Photographers' Conference, and this was my first trip to a European country.

I heard a lot about Paris. Some people tell me the people are snobbish, while others gush at how beautiful the place is, and how I will fall in love with the museum there. Much as I try to take everything with a pinch of salt, in the end I was more inclined to think that, yes, I will like Paris.

And I did.

Here are a series of black-and-white photos I took then, documenting my short stay in the land where people tell me it's easy to fall in love with.

And fall in love, we shall.
