This collection of works is based on the concept of the hyper-masculine man, who is emotionally illiterate and sees women only for what they can offer sexually. I depict the man as a baby to emphasize how childlike and dense this insecure obsession with exaggerated masculinity can be. In the sculpture I created to work from, he sleeps in a crib and has a mobile with simplified blowup dolls. In the first image, I replace the balloons in the room with the head of the baby so that it confronts the viewer in multiple instances throughout the piece.
