Experimental Glass Light Conductors

This set of glasses is the different explorations of glass's characteristics like transparency and conductivity of light. The liquids inside also serve as light conductors. The idea is combining two main glass manufacture ways (Industrial glass and hand-blown glass). I made a plaster mold for the lower half part of the glass to represent industrial manufacture glass's identical shapes, and I did experimental tries on the upper part to represent hand-blown glass's uniqueness. These glasses serve as both container and illumination in a conceptual way.
It contains clear water at the first place, reflecting white light. Then I throw two effervescent tablets into it. Gradually the liquid turns into yellow and change the atmosphere.
This one contains soda water to match the the bubbles inside the glass wall.
Dropping a few ink into the water changes the atmosphere.
In this photo it contains mixture of milk and water.
Blue Ink + Water
Color changes to green when projected on the wall.
