For my sophomore concept class final, we have to create a calendar. Tired of those ordinary flat calendars, I decided to go for something 3 dimensional. This piece is made out of more than 100 little origami pieces that are put together into a bigger form that is transformable. At where each month is indicated there is an opening that opens up to a beautiful surprise that can only be revealed at the end of each month. I hope that, like these beautiful flowers, we can absorb all the nutrients that life offers us and face the bad weathers with confidence and courage.
