Three-Dimensional Contrast: Clay Mask
A mask hand-crafted from oven bake clay that explores the possibility of the three-dimensional contrast of few and many. The use of many spheres on one eye and less on the other.

Contrast Experiments: Few/Many
This is my idea for my mask. I used a square clay mask to use as my ideas for jotting down.
Process photo: My first step in making my mask was to create a rounded border that matched my concept.
Process photo: I used a circle shaped object to cut circles into the eyes of my mask.
Process Photo: After placing the main elements (small spheres) on the mask, I used alcohol to clean up the dirty particles so I can have a clean finish.
Process Photo: Mask is on aluminum to help mold its shape, last fixtures are done and mask is heated in oven.
