Being the youngest member of my family is a perk for sure. The unconditional love and protection I have received from my parents and my elder sister has always been my pillar of strength, but it had its own challenges that made me who I am today.
My elder sister has always been more of a role model and an inspiration for me, having an age difference of five long years. She has always looked out for me and paved the path for me showering support all along the way. In turn, it was very natural for me to look up to her, to place her on a pedestal in my life that was untouchable. A level of respect and love that is unmatched.
I loved her excellence in everything she did, but my extended family saw me from the shadow of it. I was compared to a prodigy and so naturally, I always felt short.
As a child who barely understood emotions, I found myself resisting jealousy and hatred towards my sister. I always told myself that it was not her putting me down. I believed that till the point the love between us was pure, I needed to fight my negative feelings against the world, not her.

I chose these colours, as my palette because I feel they complement each other and at the same time contrast each other which brings out the emphasis of each hue without any one hue being more overpowering.It is a perfect balance between subtlety and vibrancy.
